Other Methods: rei-release Movement Practice

rei-release
The moving experience to well-being
What is rei-release?
Combining reiki healing with movement, rei-release is a movement practice that opens a creative path to self-awareness and healing. Founder Monica Brunello acts as a guide, helping clients relax, release, and re-establish. Since 1999, Monica has been developing rei-release as an ever-growing way to learning about the self, the mind, the body and our capabilities.
Simply put, rei-release is a way to help you help yourself.
Unaware of our habits, we live our daily lives building up layers of tension within our body. These layers become baggage that we carry around with us throughout our lifetime, restricting our movement and ourselves. The practice of rei-release works as a process that helps peel away the layers in order to reveal and release our true self.
rei-release combines both internal and external exercises, working with a variety of tools that focus attention on listening to the body; breathing; centring the mind and setting intentions; mind-body interdependence; presence; life as a moving experience; and visualization.
During a session
rei-release sessions offer clients a creative way to learn about the self. Each rei-release session opens with a personal aura cleansing and Free Mind. This is followed by the Waking Walk, a series of movements within a walking sequence. During this exercise, observations are made to identify possible areas where unreleased emotion/blocked energy are kept in the body. Specific exercises are then performed to help release energy related to that emotion/area. All rei-release exercises are structured in a way that allows for personal expression, a moving experience that enhances the healing process to well-being. Sessions end with a relaxing colour-breathing exercise that cleanses and harmonises the energy of the chakras.
